Understanding Reasonable Force Seminar – 7th July – Special Offer – Only £40.00 Per Person!
In the past you have expressed an interest in our courses, so I thought that I would take this opportunity to drop you a quick e-mail to invite you to a one day event that I have been asked to speak at that is being hosted by my colleagues at Taser.co.uk.
As you may have never trained with us before, this is an opportunity for you to meet me personally so that you can see first hand what we do and how we do it.
The day also has a number of benefits to you personally and professionally in terms of the information that you will receive in relation to the recent successful prosecution under the Corporate Manslaughter Act and the implications that it has for all of us who are involved in either teaching, commissioning or managing the use of physical force and what you can do to reduce your liability and culpability under the New Act.
Video Input from Leading UK Lawyers
To assist you I will be showing some video interview footage of interviews that I held with Michael Mansfield QC (one of this country’s most respected and feared QC’s) and Professor Gary Slapper who is the Head of Law for the Open University and who writes for the Times Newspaper, so you get information first hand from these eminent people.
Representatives form the Association of Chief Police Officers Self Defence and Arrest and Restraint Group Attending
This event has already generated so much interest that the Association of Chief Police Officers are sending representatives from their Self Defence and Arrest and Restraint Working Party. That is how much they value what is being said on the day, and if it is of value to them is must surely be of value to you too?
BTEC Level 3 Self Defence and Restraint Awards
The day will also cover information on the New BTEC level 3 Advanced Self Defence and Restraint Instructor Awards that we offer (which is one reason why the police are attending). That means you will be able to gain a first-hand insight into these new awards and what they can do for you in terms of professional credibility.
The Science and Psychology of Combat
What will be of major interest on the day will be the research findings that Mark will be revealing in relation to the Science and Psychology of Combat. He will be showing the evidence of how individuals react under pressure and stress and how this can affect performance, why some techniques work and why others will fail when used in situations of high emotional stress and how the physiological and psychological differences between men and women need to be considered when designing physical skills training programmes, and also when explaining why someone reacted the way they did.
The event itself is being hosted at the Luxurious Staverton Park Hotel, Daventry Road, Northamptonshire (NN11 6JT), and, as an incentive to attend we are able to offer a number of limited seats at 1/2 price. That means that if you wish to attend this event you can now do so for a cost of only £40.00 as opposed to the advertised £80.00. This offer is also open to any of your colleagues who may wish to attend, so please feel free to spread the word.
Great Networking Opportunity
Come along and join us for what is going to be a phenomenal day. You will get the chance to see and hear first hand what the law actually says – and that is an eye opener. You will get to meet some interesting and influential people, which may be good for you busiess-wise, and you will have fun and learn in a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere – at a cost that will possibly never be repeated again!
This is not your standard ‘legal–type’ training course but an information packed day, taught in a humorous and enjoyable way in luxurious surroundings. Not bad for £40 a ticket!
