The Science and Psychology of Combat
What will be of major interest on the day will be the research findings that Mark will be revealing in relation to the Science and Psychology of Combat. He will be showing the evidence of how individuals react under pressure and stress and how this can affect performance, why some techniques work and why others will fail when used in situations of high emotional stress and how the physiological and psychological differences between men and women need to be considered when designing physical skills training programmes, and also when explaining why someone reacted the way they did.
